Variation in variety. Slight variation in intensity of green color of leaves from green to dark green to yellow-green, leaf outline from entire to wavy, and leaf angle from open to semi-prostrate. Leaf shape varies from elliptic to ovate. Leaves have moderate bloom. Leaf blistering also varies from low to moderate. Plants have slight heading capabilities. Plants measure 15-26 inches tall and 25-40 inches wide. Variety has a strong mustardy flavor and slight sweetness.

Variation in variety. Two plants have blue-green leaves. One of these blue-green leaved plants has highly prominent veins that stand out. One of the green leaved plants has a more erect growth habit and ruffled leaves. Three plants with green leaves have more dentate margins. Leaves vary from elliptic to spatulate in shape and have moderate blistering. Plants measure 14-21 inches tall and 25-35 inches wide. Non-heading variety. Average taste qualities with slight bitterness.

Highly variable planting. Five of 11 plants have dark purple petioles, midveins, and stems. Among purple plants, one has a highly erect leaf habit and also much darker purple pigmentation including on the leaf blades while another plant has significantly more lobed leaves. Among green plants, one is very horizontal with large, blistered, silvery green leaves, while other plants are variable for leaf shape, lobing, and angle. Plants do not form heads and measure 13-23 inches tall and 22-42 inches wide. Average taste qualities. Some thought it was fruity, while others detected bitterness.

Slight variation in planting. One plant is a darker green color. Otherwise plants are relatively uniform with some slight variation in leaf undulation and glossiness. Leaves are ovate to spatulate in shape and have a wavy margin and lobed outline. One plant has high amount of bloom while the others have a moderate amount. Plants have a slight heading capability. Plants measure 16-23 inches tall and 27-40 inches wide. People thought this was either average or very good. Some described it as sweet and tender, while others said it was bland. You be the judge!
