Leaves are orbicular to spatulate in shape and have a slight lobed to dissected outline and wavy margin. Leaves have low to moderate blistering and a semi-prostrate angle. Slight heading capabilities. Plants measure 14-18 inches tall and 28-45 inches wide. Average taste qualities.

Old Timey Yellow Cabbage Collard – 64

Variation in variety. Five of 12 plants are dark green with prominent midribs and veins. Two plants have yellow-green leaves. Five plants have green leaves. Six plants have a purple stem and six have light green stems. All leaves are elliptic with a wavy margin and slightly lobed outline. Plants measure 15-22 inches tall and 30-45 inches wide. Non-head forming plants. Average eating qualities.

Variation in population. Three of 11 plants are dark green. The other 8 are yellow-green to light green. One plant has a prostrate growth habit, while others are more open. Leaf blistering is slightly variable from low to moderate. Leaf margin is variable from entire to wavy. Petioles slightly more enlarged on two of the darker green plants. Plants have moderate heading capabilities. Plants measure 16.5-26 inches tall and 28-48 inches wide. Variety has tough and stringy leaves, but is slightly sweet.

Variation in population. Of 10 plants, one plant has much flatter leaves while one plant has a bit of pigmentation on the mid rib/petiole. Other plants have green obovate to orbicular shaped leaves with a wavy margin, moderate bloom, moderate blistering, and light green petioles. Plants have moderate heading capabilities. Plants measure 13-23 inches tall and 25-39 inches wide. Plants were damaged by temperatures reaching 20 F. Slightly bitter, but tender.

Variation in planting 10 plants total. 1 plant is more prostrate. There is also considerable variation in pigmentation. Most have some sort of purple coloring, but some have more on the stem while others have more on the petiole. All leaves are elliptic and are either entire or slightly lobed with a wavy margin. Leaves have low to moderate blistering. Non-heading variety. Plants measure 12.5-20 inches tall and 22-39 inches wide. Slightly bitter and has a very strong earthy taste.
