Eva is a PhD student in cultural anthropology, where she studies seed saving as creative processes of future making. When Eva isn’t reading, writing, or thinking about seeds, she is usually cooking or knitting – or wishing she could fit a garden in a tiny Brooklyn apartment.

Green Gumbo!! I usually add white beans and serve with a giant hunk of cornbread for the perfect winter meal.
