The mission of Organic Seed Alliance (OSA) is to advance ethical seed solutions to meet food and farming needs in a changing world. OSA achieves this mission through research, education, and advocacy. We envision seed systems that are democratic and just, support human and environmental health, and deliver genetically diverse and regionally adapted seed to farmers everywhere. Our primary research site is located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State at the Finnriver Farm and Cidery. The research farm includes four acres of certified organic land and several greenhouses where OSA  manages field trial research, plant breeding projects, and seed production, and hosts educational and outreach events as well. The site is an important complement to the collaborative variety trial and plant breeding sites hosted by our farmer and university partners across the U.S.
